Occupational therapy (OT) helps individuals gain increased independence throughout their daily lives. Some areas that OT can help includes self-care tasks, fine motor, handwriting, play and executive functioning skills. We address these areas along with many others. Sensory regulation is an important aspect to help improve function throughout the day. There are various tools and strategies that parents and children can use to help regulate themself throughout the day and improve independence.
We offer occupational therapy services in an individualized setting for 30-60 minutes at a time to improve independence and skills across their daily life.
Our services are provided in your home or at a neutral location.
Get to Know Stephanie
Stephanie Egleston MS, OTR/L
Stephanie Egleston is a NJ registered and nationally certified occupational therapist with over 5 years experience treating children from ages 1 year through 21 years old. She has experience working in schools, early intervention, outpatient sensory clinics and utilizing equine-assisted therapy. Stephanie attended Quinnipiac University for her undergrad and graduate school.
Stephanie believes in using a family-centered approach during treatment sessions and understands the importance of the carry-over of skills to home & school. She was named a New Jersey Favorite Kids Doc in 2022.
When she’s not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and helping out at her local animal rescue. Stephanie volunteers as an EMT in her free time.
Little Hands Therapy works with all insurances.
We are an in-network provider with Aetna insurance.
For all other insurances we are out-of-network. We will provide a Superbill which can be submitted to your insurance at the end of each month. Superbills are submitted to attempt to get reimbursed for services provided to your child.
